Pro Shop Markers

Cal Ordnance Mercenary Conversion.  Basically a retrofit for Sheridan based guns.  Install your grip-frame and valve into their body.   Retailed for around $225.   This marker belongs to a reader.   It was sent to me for repairs.   Beautiful marker.   This image shows it with the pump rearward so it may look a little odd.   Quick strip bolt design, interchangable barrel, autotrigger.   Very rare outside of California where they were built.   About the only other info on them is an article in an old issue of Action Pursuit Games Magazine.   You can see skans of that article on the PGP Owner's Group Site.   This was Cal Ordnance's contact info.  Cal Ordnance Tactical Airgun Equipment.  240 Fifth Ave.  City of Industry, CA. 91746   (818) 333 2610   Anybody Know if they are still around?

RTP Viper Custom

RTP Viper Custom.   Sold through Paintball Pro Shop around 1989.  R.T.P. Stands for Rick The Prick.  REALLY!   That's not the kind of thing I would make up.  One must presume that the gentleman who produced this marker was less than charming.  Barrel is stainless steel.  Very accurate shooter, even with modern small bore paint.  This marker has drop out lever quick change.  UPDATE.  A Dave 'Rossco' Ross informs me that I'm wrong about 'Rick' that he's a pretty nice guy.  Disclaimer here, I've never met 'Rick' an wasn't trying to slander him, just jumping to a conclusion based on the epithet.   I'm currently trying to get the whole story.  On an unfortunate side note I have traded the Viper off to Ralph Torrel who actually owned it prior to Terry Garrett.  Traded it off for Ralph's Early Model Hurricane.  That marker can be seen in the Palmer's Markers section.

Viper Rifle

Here it is, my Unicorn.   The mythical beast that I just can't seem to catch.   A Viper Rifle by Paintball Pro Shop. Thanks to Grantman for this pic.   I've never even laid eyes on one of these beasties.   This image and an ad in an old APG are all I have.   Man, I want one of these babies.

1988 Carter Termite

1988 Carter Termite.   One of only ten built that year.    This one has the original 'Howdy' bolt and nearly every other feature that could be added to a pump gun.   Unbelievably high quality peice and extremely rare.    Andy owns two of them!    This marker belongs to 'Andy' image is by him as well.
