Palmer's Pursuit Shop Markers

DeWayne's Hurricane.

DeWayne Convir's Hurricane.   Serial No. 03.   Yep, that's right, number 03.   Last time he sent it in to Palmer's he almost didn't get it back.   What really sucked is that he hadn't really thought about the serial number until Glenn Palmer offered to buy the gun back.    Prior to this, he was going to sell it to me.   Now it is not for sale at any price.

My KP Stroker

KP-3 Stroker Semi-Auto.   Stroker's are converted from an existing pump action gun, in this case, a KP-3 rifle.   A Hurricane, by contrast, is built from the ground up.   The Hurricane has a better valve than the stroker and theoretically will have a better barrel.    This Stroker has a nickel plated, spiral port barrel, with sight rail and quick strip bolt.    Palmer's quick strip bolt mechanism is pretty ingenious if you've never gotten a chance to toy with one.   Simple, rugged, and quick.    Beautiful gun.   I refinished the stock in blue and 3 coats of polyureathane and polished the velocity adjuster and ASA.    What a sweet marker.
