The Ronald McDonald House is owned and operated by a non-profit organization called Friends of Children of Southern West Virginia. You can help support our House through volunteering your time, by donation of products or services, or by sending your tax-deductible gift. All gifts go directly to the operating expenses of the House. Please open your heart to "The House That Love Built."

Grant/Outreach Program

We provide grants to non-profit organizations whose programs help children in two distinct areas:  Preventive Healthcare and medical Research & Education and Social Responsibility including the Ronald McDonald House.

Send a Donation

Send a Donation in honor of or in memory of a loved one. We send acknowledgments to both the donor and the person being honored or to the family of the remembered person. Send your tax-deductible contribution and ask your employer if they will match your gift. If so, please send the completed form along with your gift.

McMeal Makers

Provide a nice meal for families (usually 15-25 guests) saying at the House.  Great opportunity for individuals, small groups, churches, organizations and/or local restaurants!  Meals must be prepared in our kitchen or purchased from a commercial kitchen (restaurant).  This may be a one-time volunteer opportunity or scheduled on an ongoing basis.

Planned Giving

Consider planned giving by way of a bequest in your will, remainder trust, and/or insurance policy. This is a wonderful way to leave a legacy! Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please consult your tax advisor.

Share a Night

The Ronald McDonald House asks families to pay a $20 nightly contribution, but for some families even that amount can be too much. By sponsoring a night or a week, you enable us to continue helping families in their time of crisis.
