The Ronald McDonald House says a warm "welcome" to the families of children receiving medical treatment in our community. To be near their children, parents and families must often endure lengthy commutes to a strange city, sleep in hospital waiting rooms, live on fast food or bear the expense of an impersonal hotel room. A Ronald McDonald House offers a temporary home that can relieve the stress, financial hardship and loneliness that is often added to the trauma of illness.

The very first step families need to take when requesting our services is to contact the Social Services Department of the hospital where the family member will be receiving treatment. A proper medical referral is needed before any lodging arrangements can be made. Once the social worker has obtained all of the information we are contacted to see if there is a room available. Advance reservations for families of pediatric patients can be made through your Doctor's office but have to be confirmed in advance to your arrival. Each night that a family stays as a guest, there is a small fee. Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Check-In time is until 7:00 p.m. daily.
