Yes, I fooled around with other knotted forms including crochet. One day I read about the Solomon's Knot and designed and crocheted this from scratch.
It is made from DMC® #30 Cébélia, 3326 Light Rose, pretty heft stuff compared with Cordonnet #100, but it worked OK to try out the Solomon's Knot in designing a crocheted piece. It is 11" in diameter.
