- Descendant from Patrick Hodnett (1807 - 1887). He was born in Ireland (probably southern Ireland, Cork area), died in Danforth, Maine. Perhaps we can figure out how/if this HODNETT line connects to those above.

- HODDINETT surname variation through Mary Ann Hoddinett born 19 June 1853 in Bermondsey, Surrey (now London), who married a William Thomas Douglas in January 1872 at Bethnal Green, Middlesex. Mary Ann Hoddinett's parents were Thomas HODDINETT and Louisa Salter both believed to have been born in Southwark/Bermondsey, Surrey. The family was know to have been engine oil and tallow manufacturers.

Ellen was later joined by John Hodnett b. Ireland abt 1858, d N.Y. 1905. Ellen died in NY in 1877. Any leads will be appreciated.
