This primary purpose of “The Closet” is storage. However, it is also an excellent  backup tool and security tool.

There is a secure deletion feature included. When using the secure deletion feature the user is given the option of  witnessing for themselves  the overwrite procedure, renaming, and destruction of files and folders they want permanently removed.

A feature named “File Cabinet” provides the user with a method of hiding their personal folders and files.  And, there is a backup feature that is rather easy to use and as a result can be rather handy.

To open your closet, right-click on the desktop, or in any open folder, and select ”The Closet” in the right-click context menu.

Put files in your closet you want to take care of but keep out of sight. Put junk in it that you are just not quite ready to throw away. Use it to get some of the clutter out of your "Briefcase" or "Documents" and clean up your desktop items.. If you like, you can create a "New Briefcase" in The Closet. Put anything you want in The Closet folder. "The Closet" is not meant to be used as a method of security. It is meant to be used for storage. However, the user can greatly enhance their security and privacy if they use the Secure Deletions, File Cabinet, and Backup features. To open your Closet folder manually, locate it in your profile’s folder, found in the “Users” folder and open it like you would any other folder
