Titlebar Software is a software developer in partnership with a global software marketing affiliate named ShareIt. Titlebar Software and ShareIt strive to make excellent software available to the public at excellent prices. “Tray Folder” is a launcher. A folder will be created under your profile and the name of the folder will be based on your profile’s name. For Instance, my personal tray folder is named “John’s Tray Folder”. Put shortcuts, files, or other folders in your tray folder and use the tray icon to access them by opening your personal tray folder. The program includes a variety of useful tools. (price: $ 7.98)

“Tray Folder 2” includes the “Tray Folder” launcher, plus it has a second tray folder -the secure tray folder. The secure tray folder is also accessible through the tray icon. But only when you want it to be accessible. Tray Folder 2 has been developed with the newest version of Microsoft’s programming software. As a result, there has been a couple of new features developed and added. This software was developed with three objectives in mind –privacy, security, and convenience. Tray Folder 2 will put the personal back in your personal computer. And, it is rather inexpensive also. The main developer said he would have bought it in a minute if he had found it for that price. But, he could not find it –so he wrote it. This is the best software Titlebar has for the price ...except maybe the freeware. (price: $ 9.98).

There are two versions of Tray Folder 2. When you buy one of them you will get them both. They are essentially the same program. One is “(Hidden)Tray Folder”, the other is “(Documents)Tray Folder.” (Hidden)Tray Folder will install your secure tray folder to the “Application Data” located under your profile on the computer. (Documents)Tray Folder will install the secure tray folder to the “My Documents” folder under your profile. You will be able to create your password and password protect the secure tray folder and place the secure tray folder in an encoded “protected mode”. In the protected mode your files will not be legible. The user must login using the password to put your files in the “unprotected mode” and return them to the secure tray folder. Extras include secure delete, file encryption, and backup tools. Most all of the freeware programs listed on the left side of this page were actually developed as feature of the Tray Folder programs.

“Secure Deletions” is a secure delete utility that can be used to replace the Windows Recycle Bin. The Secure Deletions program will destroy folders and files you want destroyed. And, you have the option of witnessing the encryption and overwriting procedures. (price: $5.00)

“File Cabinets” is a utility for hiding your personal folders and files. The File Cabinets program is a rather small program that is very quick and easy to use. (price: $5.00)

“Cabinets” is a newer version of the “File Cabinets” program. The main features involve hiding and locking personal files and folders. It includes a “Tray Folder” feature and other extras. (price: $14.98)

FREEWARE:

Titlebar Software also has a several utilities available to the public as freeware.

“Tray Date” displays the current date as an attractive tray icon.

“The Backup” is a very quick and easy to use backup tool.

“Titlebar Date” will display the weekday and date in the active window’s title bar.

“Titlebar Time” will display the weekday, date, and time in the active window’s title bar.

“The Notifier” will present a reminder window to you at your preset time interval.

“File Encryptor” is a file encryption utility.

“sdFolder” is a secure deletion utility.

“File Cabinet” is a utility for hiding files and folders.

There is a webpage for each of the above utilities. None of these freeware programs will put any sort of advertisements or spyware on your computer. Most all are included, as features, in all the Tray Folder programs. These programs are fairly small. So even with a very slow connection, they will just take a moment to download. All are rather straight forward, easy to use, programs. It will just take a minute or two to give them a trial run. If you like them, they are 100% freeware. If you should decide to uninstall any of these programs, they can be uninstalled in a few moments. Neither of them will make any entries to your computer’s registry other than one entry that results in the program starting automatically when Windows starts. “The Backup” will not make any entries at all to your registry. Neither of them will put files on your system and clutter up your file system in order to advertise to you something you do not want or need. No splash screens and no advertisements.
