Dear Mother,

Left Cleveland 7:30 this morning and arrived here on time. Wasn't a bit of trouble to join Uncle Sam. He was just very well pleased with us all. Will leave for Fort Riley at 4:30 this evening. How are you feeling? Good I hope. Am having a good time today. They are giving us a big ice cream spread here this afternoon. I will drop another card soon.
