Life at Camp Funston
Camp Funston Today
2nd Lt. Dave Young, Kansas Air National Guard, says little remains today of the Camp Funston of Dad's day. About all that is left is an outline of the foundation and the fireplace of the old Headquarters building. In addition, there is a monument to the men who trained at Camp Funston during World War One. The Kansas Army National Guard now has a regional maintenance facility there. The following pictures of today's Camp Funston are courtesy of Lt. Young.
