Volunteer
Volunteer paralegal opportunities exist from time to time. TLS can use non-legal and paralegal assistance with databasing evidence and legal documents, proofreading, deposition summaries, serving and filing legal documents, preparing reports, and investigation. Prior law office experience is welcome but not required. Volunteers should, however, have office, reading, and typing skills.
Scholastic credit may be available depending upon your school. TLS has over three years experience helping non-lawyers become attorneys through the California State Bar Law Office study program. If you are training to take the California State Bar exam through the law office program, work performed for TLS may qualify for law office study. Please ask your supervising mentor attorney to contact TLS.
