Biography

Tom Toperzer was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Making art was a regular activity as a child and through his high school years. This passion eventually led to a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nebraska where Toperzer was awarded the Wood’s Trust Fellow in Painting.

After graduation he chose a career path that led him to directing and curating exhibitions for four art museums and a contemporary art gallery. The habit of being in the studio making art continues to be the focus of Tom Toperzer's life today.
