Each member who chose to participate selected the fabric of her choice and by end of the year will have at least 12 blocks to make a quilt to keep. Everyone keeps their blocks and ends up with a great sampler quilt.

Here are the steps:

1. Purchase enough fabric for completing your quilt; including blocks and sashing and perhaps coordinating colors for borders and backing if you wish (though they may be purchased later).

2. Each month we will provide a pattern for the center of the block. These will be basic blocks and not difficult to make.

3. The sashing for the blocks will be the same for each month, so if you are on a roll, make as many as you like.

Each month we have a Show and Tell of your block and one of those participating  is the winner of a small surprise gift.
