Historian The Historian collects and preserves Troop photographs, news stories, trophies, flags, scrapbooks, awards, and other memorabilia and makes materials available for Scouting activities, the media, and Troop history projects. He works closely with the Troop Webmaster to ensure any posting of past activities is accurate and up to date.

Reports To: Assistant Senior Patrol Leader

Leadership Responsibilities

     1.  Gather pictures and facts about past activities of the troop and keep them in scrapbooks, wall displays, or information files.

     2.  Take care of troop trophies and keepsakes.

     3.  Keep information about troop alumni.

     4.  Set a good example.

     5.  Wear the Scout uniform correctly.

     6.  Live by the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

     7.  Show and help develop Scout spirit.

 

GOALS

     1.  Take and collect pictures at all troop events.

     2.  Make 6 month slideshow for presentation at Court of Honor.

     3.  Archive troop pictures, trophies and keepsakes.

     4.  Troop 20 Eagle List is current.

     5.  Build Troop 20 Alumni database.
