Steve has been a head for 8 years. He understands how lonely the job can be, and how inadequate to the tasks the average head can feel. The average head maintains a position for roughly 2.5 years these days. Steve believes the way to overcome that low average and bring stable, long-lived headships to schools is by cultivating and valuing colleagial relationships for heads. To that end Steve has worked to build a network of Mid-Eastern heads in his area, and has a heart for conversing with heads around the world. If your school needs to find a comrade for your head, Steve is willing to talk, and listen, and share experience.
