A Lubbock Unitarian Elevator Speech
We Unitarians believe in using reason in all human affairs, we believe in compassion for all people, and we have concern for our planet.
As a group, we neither endorse nor repudiate any concept of god. While having compassion for people of all faiths, we hold no religion to be true and unquestionable not even our own.
As individuals, we may subscribe to any responsible system of belief or non-belief that we find meaningful.
We gather together to learn from each other, to share joys and sorrows, love and friendship, and to make this world a better place for ourselves and others.
