ADJUDICATION

• Available to judge drum major/auxiliary auditions
• Available to judge marching competitions, with emphasis in drum major category if needed
• Available to judge solo, ensemble, etc. auditions

 MARCHING BAND TECH

• I have worked with all instrumentations and can adjust accordingly
• Work with sections and/or full band on marching fundamentals and techniques
• Assist students in learning drill
• Teach students to read drill charts
• Work with individual sections on marching music

DRUM MAJORS (instruction will consist of, but is not limited to:)

• Basic conducting pattern
• Marching fundamentals
• Whistle, vocal, and silent commands
• Salutes
• Music expression (crescendos, decrescendos, cues, cut-offs)
• Responsibilities and duties of a drum major and leadership
• Will put together marching/conducting routine upon request
• Mock try-outs upon request

Bassoon instruction

• Beginning bassoon students
• Bassoon embouchure, tone, tonguing
• All-State, All-Region, and/or Solo/Ensemble material
• Vibrato
• Technique
• Musicality
• Reed work
• Reed-making at request

• Prices depend on location
• Price for schools is usually $20-$30 per hour plus gas/mileage for travel
• Private lessons (individual students) are $15 per half hour
• If you request instruction during one of the TECH Band Camps that I teach at, half hour lesson is $15.

SUBSTITUTIONS

• If in the event that I am personally unavailable to judge or clinic your band, I will refer you to possibly another Arkansas Tech drum major or someone suitable.
