Title: Call to Peace
Media: Quilted cotton, linen and nylon sheers
My daughter’s husband is from Morocco.  I have been very lucky to visit his country and stay with his family.  The Muslim call to prayer is one of the most peaceful and open customs I have ever witnessed.

We should all stop for a few minutes a day to appreciate the sacredness of our world.  I am a New Yorker, but I am also a Buddhist practitioner.  It is in moments of meditation that the heart softens.

Imagine what a change would occur if we would all stop, contemplate peace and open our hearts.
