Bio:
A potter and clay sculptor for over 30 years; teaching as Associate Professor of Art at Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. Makes wheel thrown pots most days, plus joined-clay abstract sculptures and mixed-media gallery installations. Avid swimmer; fluent in Spanish; has traveled to 20 countries to see potters at work. Grants: Fulbright to Argentina; two Pollock-Krasner awards.
