I've just started in this era of mdeling, and as such don;t really have much in the way of photos, and no finished projects yet. For now I'll just post what I have in the way of photos.

Began TOS modeling while on vacation in June, 2007  I decided to work on three different vessels, a styrene Constitution Class cruiser, a Pompey Class Frigate, and a Coranado Class through Deck Cruiser.  The Connie comes from the Ertl 3 piece set, the Pompey is an all resin kit by Gee Bee models, and the Coranado is a bash of parts from a styrene Constitution and a resin secondary hull.

Left to Right: Coranado, Pompey, and Constitution Class

Was able to primer coat the models while on vacation, but had to wait til I got home to airbrush them.   Putty and sanding took me about three days of work on the Constitution to cover the seams, particularly along her belly and the fantail.  i decided to use a Tamiya JN Grey color for the TOS ships, seems to have just the right hint of Greenish blue that the USS Defiant has in the ENTERPRISE episode "In a Mirror, Darkly".

I had to do some research to get my airbrush technique up to par, butI feel like I can do a modest job with it now.  I've left the engine nacelles off for the time being to make detail painting and decaling easier (made a nice little jig for holding them while painting too!)  I've got some ideas I want to try .   Would be nice if I could order some decals to finish this little gem up!
