Warning Description: Flood Warning
Warning Date: 9:34 am EST on February 9, 2010
WarningSum:
Warning Message:The Flood Warning continues for
the Tar River at Greenville.
* Until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9 am Tuesday the stage was 15.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...the river will continue rising to near 16.3 feet by
early Thursday afternoon then begin falling.
* Impact...at 16.0 feet...widespread low land flooding adjacent to the
river. Some farmland will begin to flood across Pitt County.
