This was my first painting for a class in college, I copied it from a photo I found in the basement of the victorian I was living in. It's a USO show Christmas Eve, 1969, in Viet Nam. On the back was an apology from soldier, "Sorry about the angle, but it recalls the show... "was the title for several years. Something about the broken vertical stripes of color (or pattern) in there really strikes a chord with me. I think I was a broken vertical stripe of color in a previous life.
