My friend Dave B. gave me a distorted black and
white xerox of this image which still grabs me to this
day ( I think it was a photograph to start with).   So I
copied it,  beginning to formulate what is someday
going to be known as my style.   This was the first
time that I tried painting my own collage pieces, a
technique that has worked well for me.
