Lost
Little Girl
[1999]
approximately 32" x 39"
Painting and Collage on masonite
Owned by a private collector
In college I was handed a flier that had this picture on
the back side of it. Originally there was a little
girl with watering can in the center, but I don't do
that kind of painting. It started out as collage
but it proved to be too much for me: apparently my brain
can plot out much more than my actual skills can handle.
It was while working on this piece that I discovered tar
medium, a gel that 'lengthens' the paint so instead of
drips you get drizzly strings.
