ATX Class of 2013 Team Awards
(Last updated August 3, 2009)
The ATX Class of 2013 believes first and foremost that we always
win and lose as a team and that each and every team member is vital to our
overall success. At the end of each season,
however, the team does take time to recognize three special players for the
individual contributions they make to the team during the season. The players themselves vote anonymously for
three individual player awards: Mr. Hustle, Mr. Spirit
and MVP as defined below:
Mr. Hustle
-
that
player who “dives for every loose ball”
-
goes
110% in every game AND during every practice, leaving it “all out” on the court
-
the
player who gives everything he’s got from the opening tip to the final buzzer
to help the team be successful
Mr. Sprit
-
that
player who is always cheering on his teammate both on and off the court
-
he
always encourages his teammates in a positive way to always give it their best
-
all
around great attitude which builds up the entire team
MVP (Most Valuable Player)
-
that
player who really helps the team win and is difficult to replace
-
fills
many different roles that are needed to help the team be successful as a whole,
both offensively and defensively
-
brings
overall leadership when he steps on the court and leads by example
