Description: We are an 9th
grade / 15U basketball team that is associated with the ATX basketball club (www.atxboys.com)
that originates out of the central Texas area.
The ATX basketball club is a program of Greater Central Texas Youth
Association (GCTYA), a non-profit, 501©3 organization. ATX has teams ranging from 5th grade
to Varsity level. The mission of GCTYA
is to “Enrich the minds, bodies and spirits of our participants, though
academics and athletics.” We strive to
be an alternative to the various negative elements which compete for the
attention of our youth. Click here if you
would like to get more information on how to make a tax-deductible contribution
to our organization or contact David King directly. Our list of current sponsors and partners can be viewed from here.
Our particular 15U team has 70% of coaches and players residing in Pflugerville,
Texas and as a result the
majority of our practices are conducted in Pflugerville and/or North
Austin. Our players will all be playing
on their Freshman/JV High School teams so we will not try to have a
simultaneous Fall/Winter season. Our
Spring/Summer season for 2010 will start toward the end of February and will
extend thru the end of July of 2010.
