This series will move forward only after it is approved by the Abilene City Parks Advisory Board.  Their next meeting is February 5, at which time they will vote on the approval of the project.

2008 Cal Young Park Expansion Series
Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Abilene and the West Texas Disc Twisters

The West Texas Disc Twisters, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Abilene, are working on expanding Cal Young Park into the area west of Lytle Creek. One of the goals is to put a professionally designed championship disc golf course on the property.  With this course, the Disc Twisters and the Rotary Club can partner to throw events that raise money for charitable and non-profit organizations.

This is a great opportunity to bring more disc golf into Abilene and help our community at the same time.  Come out and have fun enjoying a day of disc golf, competing for prizes, and helping us raise money for this project!!

 Series event dates

 Pro (cash payout): $25
Am1 (merch payout): $20
Am2 (merch payout): $15

 Ace pot is included for all divisions
CTP's and other prizes will be up for grabs during the series
Payouts based on finish at each event
You must play in the same division throughout the series

2 rounds - sign ups start at 9:00a each event
Rd 1 Tee off at 10a                   Rd 2 Tee off at 2p

Series Points Bonus

Players will accumulate points at each event that they play.  Points will be awarded based on the number of players you beat and/or tie within your division (plus yourself).  The player in each division with the most points at the end wins the bonus. 
Bonuses will be paid out in cash.
