Dr. Donald Newell, Sr. began our mission when, in 1947, he arrived in Fayette County as a mine company doctor. He eventually bought the abandoned company store in Lochgelly and converted it into the present Fayette Clinic.

Dr. Donald Newell, Jr. returned home after training in Atlanta, Ga. to join the practice in 1974.

Dr. Ryan Newell returned home after training at CAMC in Charleston, WV in 2002.
