WELCOME TO FORMS PAGE:

First read about registering in the State of North Carolina with both the State Office and a Local Booking agent.  If you are already familiar with this procedure, scroll on down to the Application, print it out, fill it out and send it in with the registration fee.

You Have to Register with Both the State Office and a Booking Agent: For any new officials reading this page, to referee Basketball in North Carolina, you have to register with two organizations.  The first is the State.  The State certifies officials, or another way of putting it is the State issues you a license to call in North Carolina.  It’s like a driver’s license.  You have to get a license with the State but you still have to buy a car.  In sports,  you have to get a license through the State but you still have to register with someone who has games.  In the East, that’s me.  I have 50 schools in this area and I rotate the officials through those schools so the coaches do not see the same officials game after game.

How To Register with the State -  Go to the North Carolina High School web site ( www.nchsaa.org ) and place your cursor  on the link Officiating.  Before clicking on that link,  a drop down screen will reveal some choices.  Select Register and click.  The next page will lead you through the State Registration process.

After you register with the State, you must register with the Booking Agent in your area.  My area runs east of Interstate 95 and includes an area below a line drawn from just below Wilson through Greenville and out to the ocean as my North Boundary.   My Southern Boundary is Hwy 421 basically from Newton Grove to Wilmington and includes Brunswick County.  My major cities include Wilmington, Jacksonville, Wallace, Kennansville, Goldsboro, Kinston, Southern Greenville, Snow Hill, New Bern, Havelock and Morehead City.   I assign basically all the schools in that area.

How To Register with  The Eastern Officials Association -  Scroll down below on this page and click on the link  Eastern Officials Application.  Print that form out, fill it out and mail it  to the address below along with the registration  fee listed on the form. To Be Registered,  I Need Both the Fee and the Form. Every year,  I receive a check only from some officials for their EOA registration. .  I  check all your phone numbers against my records, etc.  I also need that disclaimer at the bottom of the form signed and in my file.  Remember,  you are not registered with the EOA until I have both the form and the fee.
