Thomas Preston b.xxxx d.1802 married Margaret Unknown b.xxxx d.1817 and they had a son William Preston b.xxxx d.1858 who married Mary Johnson b.xxxx d.1864. Mary was the daughter of William Johnson, Esq., of Appleby, Lincolnshire. William and Mary had two children:

1. William Preston b.2-2-1813 d.xxxx who married on 5-29-1845 Sophia Ann Harrison. William of Burythorpe House, Yorkshire, J.P. for the East Riding. Sophia was the daughter of William Harrison Esq., of Heigholme Hall, near Beverly Yorkshire. William and Sophia had 3 children:
1. William Harrison Preston b.4-22-1846 d.xxxx of Heigholme Hall, Yorkshire, J.P. for the East Riding, late Captain 73rd Regiment, married Isabel Macrae MacDougall, daughter of John MacDougall of Lungo Argylshire.
2. Thomas Preston b.11-26-1852 d.xxxx married on 6-2-1881 Mary Maud Hibbitt, daughter of Rev. Arthur Hibbitt, Rector of Langton, Yorkshire. Thomas and Mary had issue.
3. John Harrison Preston b.7-16-1857 d.xxxx.
2. Thomas Preston b.2-23-1814 d.xxxx, (Burythorpe House Yorks) Yorkshire J.P. and D.L. for the North Riding.
