We are the guardians of the underworld. It is us that protect the humans from the invaders. Without us the Ugluk’s would come pouring to the outside. They would create havoc and chaos. It is us after hundreds of years who found out Ugluk’s secret. We are the Elite Marqual’s and we will fight until there is not one Ugluk left from the Earth’s core. Many years ago we were living peacefully. We had many towns spread across the center. Then one day the center fire core started heaving in and out. All hell broke loose. There were earthquakes and new volcanoes and many of our towns were destroyed. Our loved ones perished in fire or were destroyed by rock falls. One day the center reached its peak and with a final heave Ugluk sprang forth ready to tear and kill. Fire monsters directly from hell. We ran as the Ugluks were attacking our cities. We tried killing them with our normal weapons but to no avail. Then one day we captured an Ugluk and brought it to our lab. A famous scientist studied it and concluded that it was made entirely out of the Elements. Fire! We needed something that could defeat fire but we didn’t know what. It was so hot and full of lava that there as no room for anything against fire, so we decided the only thing to do was to go to the outside. It would be a perilous journey with rocks, worms, and volcanoes to block our way. (Not to mention that we would leave our loved ones behind). We decided to pick a team to go to the outside while the rest of us stayed to protect our loved ones and evacuate them to the city of Tarsfull which was the furthest city from the core. So we left…
Ideas: team travel out into the United States. Communicate with the government for water. Government tries to keep the team on the surface as long as possible badgering them with questions. Team severely impatient to get back to their loved ones. They don’t understand why anyone would want to live on the surface, the crust of earth, a mere surface compared to the deepness, richness, dark, mysteriousness of the underworld.
They are a remnant from Noah’s flood, they were the toughest strongest bunch who were able to adapt to anything. They ended up in the core of earth.
