As you reach the summit, you see the elevation marker

a closer view

there is depository with a guest book you can sign, we happen to have disturbed a box turtle trying to dig a nest right on top, she left without so much as a "how do you do".

There has been seating provided on top, there are a couple of very nice benches where you can rest and gather you thoughts and your breath, the trail continues to the look out point

another plaque marker stands at the summit, this one tells about the view of Jordan Mountain

the view is spectacular from look-out point. it reminds you of the lower foothills of Arkansas, you could not imagine there being a place like this in old swampy Louisiana

view to the right is not as good but it is still beautiful

my pictures just cannot give you what's here, you have to be here first hand

i'll be back soon
