moving on, we pass another marker just past the turn in the trail, this also stating appreciation to the landowner, with a disclaimer for hiking at your own risk
The trail on up is a very pleasant walk, a little grown up in places
but very scenic, if you like the Louisiana woodlands like i do
as we pass the next trail marker, you know your moving uphill by now
it's so very quiet and peaceful up here, it's hard to appreciate this trail unless you do it in person, there is no way my photographs can show you what it's like. i stopped and took a couple of shots down through a small bottom that gets your attention off the side of the trail

as you move on up the trail, it's evident that you are on a very large incline, the trail drops off down the side into the thick undergrowth, we near the summit
