we head out up the trail, pretty much a dirt road at this point
to the first gate
on through the gate
thickets and piney woods, the soft dirt road held many deer and critter tracks but we were not fortunate enough to see anything on these trips
there are several trail markers along the way, we see the first as we start up a slight incline into the beautiful hardwoods that line each side from here on up
this is why i love to come up here
we move on up to the next gate
at the second gate another marker and a plaque, stating the landowner, and reminding you to hike at your own risk and leave no trace
through the gate
on down the hill the trail turns to the right, clearly marked
