More eBay Madness

[ Intermark Semi-hollowbody ] [ Goya RangeMaster Archtop ] [ Multi-Kord Pedal Steel ]

The big red offset double cutaway guitar is an Intermark from Japan. It was advertised as being "60's vintage" but I think it's more 80's or even 90's. The neat thing about it is that it sounds like a Gretsch but it only cost me 75 bucks. The neck had a bow in it and the truss rod was at maximum tension, so I removed the frets and sanded some material from each end of the fretboard, then installed new frets. It plays pretty nicely now. I used it to do the guitar parts for "Dog Bite", a Dead Kennedys song. You can hear it on my SoundClick site.

The Goya RangeMaster was purchased off eBay last year towards the end of a RangeMaster frenzy. It's a high-end example of Italian Mixmaster pushbutton weirdness. You can hear it on "Sick Baby" at my SoundClick site.

The pedal steel guitar is an obsolete but still functional 6-string 6-pedal Multi-Kord from Harlin Brothers. I got it from eBay as a relatively inexpensive way to learn a little pedal steel guitar and add a little flavor to "Urosepsis". My playing is really bad, but if you want to torture yourself you can find the song on SoundClick.
