I take great pride in being a self taught artist and was interested in painting since early childhood. I was fortunate enough to be employed by the world famous Joel Meisner Art Foundry in New York. This is where I met many famous artists. It seemed the more famous they were the more free they were with their advice. A day never went by with out learning something new. It was like having private lessons from many of the very best teachers and artists.
I retired early to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a full time artist. I am no longer pressured to earn a living so that my goal is to turn out the very best paintings that I am capable of doing. The "American Artists Professional League" has honored me by accepting me as a member of their art club.
Painting has always been a challenge. It is never boring, there is always something new to explore. Whether it be a new tube of paint or a new brush. The time of day changes everything and so does the time of year.
