BATH SALTS

As we all know, one of the most enjoyable ways to relax after a long tension filled day, is in a bath. Calgon slammed into a major sales market by selling that exact idea. For if a bath is relaxing, adding scents and softeners to the water, makes it doubly so.

For me, I also add candles for my lighting, and a warm cup of tea or a glass of wine. Voila`, the mood is set. All my worries and cares slip into the water and go down the drain.

What follows are recipes for bath salts. Hopefully, you will enjoy these as much as I have.

To make Bath Salts is very easy. You take 3 cups Epsom Salt, 2 cups Baking Soda, and 1 cup Salt. (You can use either Sea Salt or Table Salt). Mix these together very well. Then add the essential oils. (Please use no more than 20 drops of essential oil per cup of salt). You can mix these with a wooden or ceramic spoon, although I prefer to mix them with my hands. While mixing, concentrate on your goal. Store in a bowl with a tight fitting lid. When ready to use, just take one cup and add to bath water.
