Teas and Brews

When I was a child and someone would mention the word Witch, the first thing that I would see in my mind; was an old hag, or crone, standing over a huge metal cauldron of boiling water. (Or a poisoned apple). It's amazing the stereotypes that we learn as children. Now that I'm older I understand so much more than I did then. A crone just means old woman. It's the last stage in a woman's life. Crones are wise, and mentally tough. They've seen and been through a lot. They know things. They are the ones who pass things on to us.

This section is on teas and brews. I use a coffee filter in place of a tea ball. You mix the herbs and place them in the filter. Then tie this with a bread tie. Then place it in a cup and add boiling water. I let this simmer for 5 to 13 minutes. Then enjoy.
