Swimming completed, we all get dressed and ready to get back on the road to Salt Lake City.

When we pass this restaurant,

"The Dick" says, "lunchtime!" so we spin around and get a nice table outside.

Jenny, being both a foodie and a food snob, gives serious consideration to the menu.  Notice the focused attention.

We end up splitting a steak salad and a New York strip steak three ways, and lather on the sunscreen while waiting for the food.

Next a toast between the expensive, locally brewed snob beer and my Bud Light.

We were all happy with the food we chose,

we finished up, El Exigente declared the meal a success, and we got back on the road.

Back in the car, with plenty of great Utah scenery.

We didn't have time to go visit Capitol Reef, but we could see it from here.

There was dramatic scenery even in unnamed places.

We found the Maple Grove Campground just by following a sign on the highway.

Speaking of signs, the most ubiquitous sign in the world is this one:

Although sometimes "extremely" is spelled in all caps.

We also paid attention to this sign:

Jenny and Lena prepared dinner.

There was only one tree, so the hammock setup had to be improvised.

We had a tasty dinner of sausages and improvised tuna salad with interesting spices and cheese, and dawn broke early the next morning.

Since the fire was started in a "little house of wood," I needed a mirror to check that it was proceeding OK:

As soon as the sun came over the horizon, the campsite warmed up.

and we had breakfast:

Lena filled up the water bottles, and we were off to Salt Lake City.
