Who We Are

We are a United Church of Christ faith community in San Angelo. We are theologically liberal, culturally progressive, intellectually curious, intentionally inclusive, and a little non-traditional.

We believe every person has dignity. We welcome people of every racial and ethnic heritage, every gender identity and sexual orientation, and every faith perspective into the full life of our community.

What You’ll Experience

Expect a small community, open conversation, thoughtful worship, laughter, music, questions, and people who care about one another and the world around them. You will not be pressured to pretend certainty.

Our Story

The Gathering began as a United Church of Christ new church start in San Angelo. From the beginning, the hope was simple: make room for people who wanted a thoughtful, compassionate, inclusive way to explore faith together.

That spirit still guides us. We keep learning. We keep asking. We keep gathering.
