Trek is probably my single most favorite genre. More than likely its because this was the first Sci Fi I am really aware of being exposed to as a a kid. Star Wars was a hit movie but I was in Kindergarten at the time, and the nearest theater was prolly 40 miles away . Star Trek was on TV! Groovey! Starfleet Battles also played a large part in my enjoyment of the franchise, as well as The Next Generation hitting TV in my High School years. DS9 and Voyager were debuting just as my interest in Sci Fi waned, career, family and other hobbies took its place. Then in the Spring of 2006 I discovered WWW.STARSHIPMODELER.COM and it was BACK! Man if the resin casting industry had been that developed 15 years previously, I'd never have gotten into railroading.
Spike TV aired DS9 and TNG. G4 had TNG, later Voyager got added in there, man how I missed all that!!! Even ENTERPRISE was a good show to me! There I said it. I LIKE ENTERPRISE!!!! Any Trek is better than no Trek A'tall!!!!
I divide Trek modeling into 4 seperate catagories, but of course they all
overlap a little.
