Two of the many window frames I've built for various shows. These were for Annie in December, 2017. Frank seems to always assign me the windows!
I volunteer my time and efforts for RRT because I believe in the company's mission. But it's also nice to be recognized for that! This is the Ruby Award I received for my help on sets and the work I put in to help refurbish an old synagogue into a 300-seat theater.

These sparkly jumpsuits were just the extra icing on a great show!

The three possible dads in our sequin outfits. That was such a great time!
Me as Uncle Henry in The Wizard of Oz in February, 2019.
"I never skulked a day in my life, Miss Gultch, and I ain't about to start now."
Me as Uncle Henry's alterego, the Guard of Emerald City, popping out through a door set piece that I built.
Oh, and, yes, I welded together the shield things hanging off my shoulders.

I have built many props and set pieces over the last few years, but this one is perhaps my favorite. I was the principle designer/builder for the old printing press used in Newsies.
While I did a little bit of theater work in high school, I dropped the hobby once in college. That was, until early 2017 when I landed a role as a chorus member in RRT's Beauty And The Beast. I really enjoyed the experience and appreciated the company's work so much that I have since joined several other shows at both RRT and Missouri Western State University. I also help build sets and props, and I now serve on RRT's Board of Directors. I have always felt strongly about the power of theater to inspire and motivate. Now, I'm just taking a more active role in that passion.
