Storefront Window Cleaning

Storefront
  Window Cleaning and Additional Services

Our standard Storefront Window Cleaning Service provides special attention to not only your glass but also includes cleaning of various adjacent items and areas such as:

Whether new.or.old we will have a major impact on your curb appeal by restoring and maintaining the beauty of your storefront. Our service.options are as versatile as the needs of your windows and budget may require.

We also perform other concurrent or stand alone cleaning services such as pressure.washing of adjacent surfaces, awning.cleaning,  ultrasonic.blind.cleaning, etc.

Tim washing frames before cleaning the glass. Shaun dresses out these frames with a final spot free rinse. Shaun wipes down the threshold to keep it looking new. Shaun wipes down the door jamb and the hidden edge of the door keeping it as clean as the rest of the storefront. Tim uses an extension pole to clean the upper glass. Shaun skillfully dries this mirror reflective glass with a squeegee rather than a towel producing a far superior and long lasting result.

Frames: Window frames come in a seemingly infinite variety of materials, styles, colors, textures, etc., and often play a major role in the overall appearance of your storefront.  They typically need to be cleaned along with the glass in order to prevent excessive buildup of contaminants such as mineral deposits from air born road dirt (red clay in this area) and water and of course those all too familiar cob webs.

Sills:  Window sills often appear to be the dirtiest part of your storefront and it is an absolute must that they be cleaned along with the glass.  Even after giving them a good scrub, special attention must be given to removing the standing water completely to prevent a dusty haze from developing as they dry.

Door Jambs:  Door jambs are by far the most neglected part of the typical storefront.  Dirt can be found caked onto the felt weather-stripping, the jamb perimeter,  the back edge of the door and almost always covering those oily hydraulic closers and on the sills above them.  Occasional cleaning of this "hopefully the most frequented by your customers" area is without a doubt a big need.

Spandrels:  Spandrels are those decorative panels often found above, below or perhaps next to the glass.  Like the frames, they will typically show the dirt on them much sooner than the glass.  Including them in each window cleaning visit will keep your storefront sparkling.

Signs:  Many storefronts have lettering or signs on or very near to the glass.  Once again, these surfaces must be kept clean in order to keep the whole storefront shining.

Tile Floors:  While leaving a bit of water standing on a rough textured concrete sidewalk may be permissible, surfaces such as tile or other slick finished floors must be left reasonably dry at the end of the cleaning process.  Many times these areas immediately below your glass are in need of a good scrub, anyway.

Nearby Objects:  Vending machines, benches or other objects can often be found near the glass in front of a store.  Many times these items are maintained by someone other than the retailer and it seems that we are quite frequently the only ones who pay much attention to keeping them resembling a state of cleanliness.

Tables & Seating:  You will appreciate our concern for detail, particularly if you happen to be the proprietor of a restaurant or similar establishment.  We make every effort to keep your nearby tables and seating as clean and as orderly as it was before we cleaned the window.  In fact, you might even find we care more about the detail than the employee responsible for the section.

Mirrors:  Often, mirrors are thought to be an item that can be cleaned "in house" by an employee during his or her "spare" time.  Unfortunately however, mirrors are usually much more difficult to clean and keep cleaned to a beautiful appearance.  They inevitably show every flaw and particle of dust clinging to their surface.  They also dramatically show the method with which they were last cleaned, particularly when spray cleaners (alcohol based) are used.  Due to this revealing nature, it is imperative that mirrors be routinely cleaned by a professional using a squeegee and respective (soap based) cleaning solution.  Spray cleaners can then be used by your employees to keep just the finger print zones clean throughout the week.

Your Customers:  Now here is an important "item" that although being one we actually try not to clean, you will be glad to know we take great care of.  While at your location, we make every effort to welcome and treat your customers as you love them to be treated.   We are genuinely concerned about the prosperity of your business and are glad to help in any capacity that will enhance your efforts to serve your customers.

New and Old Storefronts:  All too often, when starting a new service on a storefront that is not brand new, we have the initial chore of making up for prior years of neglect, even when the windows were previously being cleaned on a regular basis.  There are almost always areas of neglect that we are compelled to repair where possible.  In fact, even on new storefronts, we inevitably find and correct much neglect from the post construction cleaning, (if there was actually one done, that is).

Service Options:  From weekly to annually, regardless of how often or how seldom you perceive your window cleaning needs to be, we are glad to be of service.  Because our goal is not to sell you more service than you really need, you can feel free to ask for our expert opinion without concern for being given an excessive recommendation.  We are quite familiar with the different needs of various types of retail businesses as well as the differences in types of storefronts and locations and last but definitely not least.. budgets.

Pressure Washing:  Often pressure washing is the best way to clean adjacent surfaces just prior to having your windows cleaned.  In some cases it may be beneficial to consider having the whole storefront washed, including the sidewalk and curb areas.

Awning Cleaning:  Both canvass and vinyl awnings need periodic cleaning and perhaps even resealing to prolong their attractive appearance and life expectancy.  This is another project that should be done just prior to or in conjunction with your window cleaning.

Ultrasonic Cleaning:  Whether it be your blinds or perhaps your A/C duct grills, nothing cleans the nooks and crannies like ultrasonics.  We'll remove them, ultrasonically clean them in our 10' tank, spot free rinse them and reinstall them after they have dried.
