  Station 401. Is located in the new EMS Station located in Ravenswood, West Virginia. Ravenswood is the largest town in Jackson County, both in population and in area. It is the northern most town and is situated along the Ohio River.

This station is the birth place of the Ambulance service in Jackson County.

Ravenswood's heritage is richly observed throughout the town, with evidence everywhere you look. The town is host to the Ohio River Festival every summer, that celebrates the river town that it is.

Station 401 (formerly sta.40) old, got it's start here by being a part of the fire department and starting the E.M.S. system in the County, by having the first EMT and paramedic classes. A lot of the former members of that service are still involved with the EMS system in the State to this day, in one form or another The new station is located in the northern part of Ravenswood, on Division St.
