A brief history of me

I was born November 5, 1971 in San Antonio, Texas. Went to High School at Madison High in San Antonio, and attended college at Texas A&M University. My Bachelor of Art degree is in Chemistry with a minor in curriculum and instruction.

Since 1990 I have worked in the Radio/Television industry. For the past several years though I have been looking for something more fitting to my soul. In my own time I have spent considerable energy and talent in grassroots advocacy specific to civil rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals.

As a Male-to-Female transsexual I have educated Human Sexuality courses, local organizations, peers, etc about transgender issues - specifically transsexuality and the vibrant history of transgender people. This being done of course in one of the most conservative areas of the nation

What do I hope to do in the future? In the next few years I see myself going back to graduate school to combine Gender and Sexuality Studies with either Social Work or Public Policy to help build for myself and impressive skill set to continue the grassroots advocacy I have engaged in as a full time career either here in Texas, or in Washington, D.C. for one of the GLBT rights organizations.

Have a look around, I hope you learn a little more about ME!!
