Animal Trustees of Austin - Low cost non-profit spay/neuter clinic, wellness clinic and adoption. Good quality service at very reasonable prices.

Austin Pets Alive - Promotes the no-kill millenniumVolunteer organization started in 1997 with the purpose of making Austin a “no-kill” city.

Dogs Deserve Better - Organization trying to stop people from chaining their dogs outside through education and support.

Pflugerville Animal Shelter - This is a closed facility so you must contact the police dept. to visit it.

Town Lake Animal Center - Located in Austin. Unfortunately euthanizes about 40 animals a day.

Williamson County Humane Society - This is a no-kill facility that is located in Leander.

Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter - This facility is located in Georgetown.

Blue Dog Rescue.org - A good rescue group that fosters and finds homes for dogs. Angus, a harlequin great dane that I rescued, was fostered and placed in a loving home by Blue Dog!
