These are the pets I
share my life with: |

Hans, with
Dr. Gesin

Hans today,
at 6
|
Hans was an
orphan who we adopted when he was 13 days old. He weighed 1 pound,
3 ounces and his eyes weren't yet open on the day we adopted him.
It was the day before Thanksgiving, 1998. He was so young and helpless
we had to bottle feed him, burp him, and wipe his bottom to get
him to potty. Now he weighs about 80 pounds and likes to chase his
'sisters.' |
Hans
likes to chase smoke from Dad's cigar and likes his Frosty Paws frozen
treats in the evenings. |

Punkin on top of Dad's amplifier |
Jim and I found
Punkin playing by the street in our old neighborhood, and took her
home as we were afraid she might get hit by a car. We couldn't locate
an owner and fell in love with her in the meantime.
Punkin likes
to sleep on top of Dad's amplifier, chase her tail, and hang out
on our screen porch. She likes to sleep on her brother Hans' bed
too! |

Callie sitting in Dad's office |
Callie, the
calico, was a stray that I adopted through Pet Helpers. She likes
to talk, eat Moms plants, and hang out in Dad's home office.
Callie likes
to play with her sister, Chloe. I think she's a lot happier that
she has a "sibling" to play with. |

Callie & Chloe waiting for their treats |
Chloe
was the kitten of a stray mom who was rescued by a petsitter's neighbor.
They seem to be getting along better now. She likes to
play with paperclips and her big sister Callie. |

Chloe |
Dad thinks that she’s a mezzo soprano as she’s got a really high-pitched voice! |

Moose |
Moose is a typical Maine Coon and purrs a lot! It took his sisters a while to get used to him. I adopted him from the Pflugerville Animal Shelter. |

Buzz |
Buzz was also adopted from the Pflugerville Pound. He was rescued from under the hood of a car and lost half of his one ear. He’s climbed in the refrigerator and dryer several times! He’s very affectionate too! |
