October 1 and 2
are the dates for the 50th year reunion of the Oliver P. Morton High
School Class of 1960. Our reunion banquet will be on Saturday,
October 2, at Teibel's Restaurant located at the crossroads of U.S.
Route 30 and Highway 41 in Schererville, Indiana. The preceding
evening, Friday, October 1, we will gather for a pizza party at
Sanfratello's Pizza on 45th Street in Highland. Complete details
about both activities will be included in the mailing that will be
going out before the end of May 2010. Friday evening following the
pizza party and all day Saturday before the banquet will be
available for us to visit and enjoy time with our old friends from
fifty years ago.
Cost for the banquet at Teibel's will be
$55.00 per person with taxes and gratuity included. Also included in
the cost are the souvenir booklet, name badges, disc jockey, room
rental, mailings and miscellaneous expenses. In addition, there will
be a cash bar. Reservations and payments must be submitted in
advance by September 1 according to instructions that will be
included in the mailing. The banquet will begin at 6:00pm. A group
photograph will be taken by a professional photographer at 6:30.
Copies of the group photo can be ordered that night for $20.00 each.
Dinner will be served at 7:00pm. We have the banquet room at
Teibel's reserved until midnight.
Cost for the all you can eat pizza party
will be $16.00 per person including taxes and gratuity. The
cash bar will be at your own expense. Payment for the pizza party
must be submitted in advance by September 10 according to
instructions in the mailing. The pizza party will begin at 6:30pm.
