The money was paid out to the following:

Scott Duliere 1st, Vince Post 2nd, Matt Hensley 3rd, Drew McLain 4th, Jay Wilson 5th

Oh and I've been "instructed" to add that Julie, Teresa, and Sally are ALL in the top 10!  Girl Power!

Top 10 quotes of the night:

  1. "Matt says he's kind of tired of poker for a while." --Jody

  2. "Who invited him...oh wait that'd be me." --Brian, when speaking of Shaun... : )

  3. "Can't your chauffer get you here on time?" --JR to Erik, after a late arrival.

  4. "Now I like that, right there!" --Scott L, commenting on my All-In move...later led to my exit from the tourney.

  5. "I just don't expect that outa you."  --TJ, speaking of me, in the cash game.

  6. "I didn't wanna be here anyway."  --Eric S, following an early bust out, but having more to do with a hangover from the night before's WVU game!  : )

  7. "Hey, don't I know you?!" --punchline from Dan's joke, you'll have to ask him about it.

  8. "I think I'm in here at the 'professional's table.'"  --Jim, speaking of his competition at the Hearts table.

  9. "I think I'd like some Jack Daniel's, Brian, give Frank your debit card.  Frank, leave now."  --Big Red, who else...

  10. "I still hate this fuckin' game.  One of these days, I'll figure out how to play it."  --yours truly!

October 20th at 6:00pm.  Tournament #10 is over, and Shaun Willison came out of NOWHERE and rejoined the NDPT crew and chalked up one in the WIN column.  Congratulations Shaun!!!  You'll be our BOUNTY for next month.  Julie Wolfe retained her perch on top of the NDPT Points race...and was joined by her partner in crime of the Red Snappers, none other than BIG RED, who moved into 2nd place.  Hope everyone had a good time, and didn't sweat my departure, I think I left you all in good hands.  The lure of Wheeling was just too great to pass up.  I'll post more about the road trip in the blog.

The money was paid out to the following:

Shaun Willison 1st, Dennis Rempel 2nd, Matt Post 3rd, Sam McLain 4th, Steve Allman 5th

September 15th at 6:00pm.  Tournament #9 is over, and in the record books.  Steve "ALL-IN" Allman took it DOWN!!!  Where the hell did that come from!  Way to go Steve, and as a special bonus, you'll be the BOUNTY next month!  A total of 26 players showed up for the night.  There were also some "changes" on the leader board.  Julie Wolfe has now taken over the lead in the NDPT Points Race!!!  Also, the girls in general did well in the tournament, taking 3 of the 5 money spots...  Hope everyone had a good time, and we'll see you next month.

The money was paid out to the following:

Steve Allman 1st, Jody Jackson 2nd, Julie Wolfe 3rd, Teresa Murray 4th, Matt Jackson 5th

August 4th at 6:00pm.  Thanks for putting up with the change in date for the tournament, but it seems to have gone off without a hitch, for all 30 of you that came out to play.  Tournament #8 was won by Vince Post.  As a bonus of course you inherit the BOUNTY position for next month!  Incidentally JJ won the Bounty Jackpot in this tournament when he took out JR.  Don't take it so hard JR, I think Big Red fleeced him later in the cash game!  Thanks to the Wolfe's for bringing along the Pony Keg...it went along way toward helping me drowning my sorrows after busting out.  (Darn that Laura Brothers!!!)  One other observation...the final table had quite a bit of ESTROGEN content.  Go Ladies!!!  Hope you all had a great time...and see you next month.

The money was paid out to the following:

Vince Post 1st, Matt Jackson 2nd, Sally Abbott 3rd, Ryan Russell 4th, Julie Wolfe 5th

July 13th at 7:00pm.  Tournament #7 was won by JR Ruble...Atta boy "Junior."  : )  Don't forget, you'll be the BOUNTY BeeYatch for next month!  Thanks to all who showed up and hope you had a great time.  Mike Westbrook continues to hold a death grip on the lead of the NDPT Points Race!  Thanks for understanding the shift in the schedule to accommodate Cole's All-Star Baseball season.  We'll get back on the regular schedule next month...sticking to the 3rd Saturday of the month at 6:00pm-ish.

The money was paid out to the following:

JR Ruble 1st, Jim Blankenship 2nd, Mike Baker 3rd, Matt Jackson 4th, Brian Murray 5th (wow haven't seen my name here for a while.)

June 16th at 6:00pm.  Tournament #6 is over but I'm still listening to the celebration here at the home of the NDPT...and this month's winner Teresa "Big Red" Murray!!!  Can I stay with someone until she settles down a little?  No really Teresa deserves a big Atta Girl!  She also wins the privilege of being next month's BOUNTY!  She came through for the fairer sex, and taught us all a thing or two about the game.  Congrats...and oh yeah, where's my cut, since I was obviously NOWHERE near the top, AGAIN.  Maybe I should just start playing at "other people's tournaments" and skip my own!  The cash game however was very profitable to me however.  : )

The money was paid out to the following:

Teresa Murray 1st, Mike Westbrook 2nd (new POINTS leader), John Johnson 3rd, Dennis Rempel 4th, Del Minturn 5th

May 19th at 6:00pm.  Tournament #5 is over and Andy Cremeans walked away with the top spot, besting the field of 26 players.  Congratulations!!!  And once again, the ladies made another strong showing.  I once again, was NOWHERE NEAR the top.

Here's how it looked after the last card fell:

Andy Cremeans 1st, Jamie Edwards 2nd, Julie Wolfe 3rd, Jody Jackson 4th, Ron Bucholtz 5th

April 21 at 6:00pm.  Tournament #4 is now a statistic in the record books...Mike Westbrook took it down!  Enjoy the 1st place winnings.  Early on Mike busted yours truly making me DEAD LAST!  :(  Oof, that smarts.  But there's always next month!  See you all then.  And the LADIES of the NDPT really made a showing at the final table as well.  You go GIRLZ!!!

Here's the winners list:

Mike Westbrook 1st, Sally Abbott 2nd, Julie Wolfe 3rd, Ron Bucholtz 4th, Erik Pugh 5th

Mike will have the BOUNTY on his head for the May tournament!

March 17 at 6:00pm.  Tournament #3 is just a memory now.  Scott Layfield outlasted the pack to walk away with the top prize.  You go big fella!  :)  And what was that comment about putting you at such a tough table?!?  And you were gonna kick me where?  It's gonna be a bumpy ride folks, ya'll hang on TIGHT!  I hope everyone is liking the tournament structure.  I think I've got it down to as close a science as I care to take it.  Now if I could just start winning that'd be great!  :)  Contact Steve Allman (via Big Red in email) if you are interested in your very own limited edition NDPT shirt!  Limited probably isn't the best term, since if the money's there, the supply would be UNlimited!  Anyway make contact if you're interested in one.

Here's the winners list:

Scott Layfield 1st, Eric Shuman 2nd, Robert Riordan 3rd, Mike Westbrook 4th, Dan Rempel 5th

Scott will have the BOUNTY on his head for the April tournament!

February 17 at 6:00pm.  Tournament #2 has been dealt and come to a close.  Vince Post walked away with the top spot this time, teaching us all a thing or two about the game.  When it came down to heads up, I even asked them to jump up the blinds, since I think they were only at 400/800 Blinds.  The new format still could use some tweaking, but man when the people start dropping out, they start dropping like flies!

Here's the winners list:

Vince Post 1st, Frank Wolfe 2nd, JR Ruble 3rd, Matt Hensley 4th, Byron Meeks 5th, Scott Duliere 6th

Don't forget, next month Vince will have the BOUNTY on his head.

January 20th at 6:00pm. The final cards of Tournament #1 for 2007 have been dealt.  AND when the "fog of war" cleared J.R. Ruble emerged victorious, and walked away with the first win of the new year!  Congratulations!!!  The new structure, chip distributions, and everything seemed to have gone just fine.  I may have to modify the latter blinds of the tournament.  It seemed when we got to the final table that the blinds were low?!?  Not quite sure why, since I had started us out at a higher blinds level in the first place.  But not a problem, I can hike it up a bit for us all.  If you have an opinion let me know.  The first tournament of the year also played host to a combined Birthday for yours truly (Brian) and for J.R. as well.  I enjoyed the night and hope you all did too.

Here's the winners list:

J.R. Ruble 1st, Brian Murray 2nd, Teresa "Big Red" Murray 3rd, Eric Shuman 4th, Dan Rempel 5th

Don't forget, next month J.R. will have the BOUNTY on his head.
