This section was started because a lot of us had a hard year a couple of years ago. So many different people, in so many different situations, but all seeming to have the same kind of problems. More than once I've seen where a Witch will say that blockages sometimes cause a lot of this. I know there have been times I've even made the blockages all on my own. By having doubt in myself, or letting my emotions rule where I should be letting my intellect...I cause my own bad problems. Then you have the outside world jumping in and making new problems as well. Many people believe that before you can practice effective magick or help yourself, you have to remove these blockages.

I have a page on my website that outlines the month by month influences of the moon, and the powers best tapped at these times. In looking it over one day, I realised that the powers go in a procession. If you work from full moon to full moon, and start with the Blood Moon just prior to Samhain, you are working for the clearing of blockages and working through creating a stable, loving, and prosperous atmosphere in your life where you are free to grow and learn.

It was discussed between the Elders and decided that as a coven project, we would work through the next year going from Esbat to Esbat and use these powers to improve all our lives. It is strongly encouraged that you (as members) take part as well. In improving our life situations, it will help us grow and improve as a Coven.

The spells and other information sent in, are not mandatory projects that you have to do. You can look over the things that will be listed for that month, and decide what you think will help you in your life. Do as much, or as little as you think is necessary to your life situation. But, the Council does strongly encourage you to take part.
